Last night I went to bed with a sad feeling and a bit angry. The break up of A Rocket To The Moon make me think about all my favorites bands, specially The Summer Set.

I used to listen ARTTM, it was one of those bands that “change” my life. I grew up listening them and I still can’t believe they are not going to do music anymore. 

The news made me feel like someone was breaking up with me without telling me the reason and you don’t know how to act because you don’t know what’s wrong. I would like to think they did that because they want to undertake new projects individually.

Well, they won’t tell us the reason but you know, I was thinking about how I’m going to feel if one of my other favorites band broke up. I mean, I can’t imagine my life without The Summer Set. 

I become a fan in 2009 and I remember their music change something in me. I was having a bad moment in my life, everything was changing in all my around and I was not prepared for live that. After three years where I was listening, posting and checking everything about them every single day, I had the opportunity of see them in London. I’m immensely grateful with Laura, she was who cheered me up to travel to the UK from Spain just for see them. I lived an amazing moment that I will never forget. 
I’m not sure if I will go to see them again, I hope so, but sometimes the opportunities don’t match when you can, for example this May…

What I’m trying to say, it’s ‘carpe diem’, seize the day, live the moment, enjoy of the opportunities that life gives you, go to all the shows you can of your favorite bands, enjoy the time with your family and friends and enjoy the life because unfortunately everything is not forever. 

I hope nobody feel depressed for this, but it took me time to realize that all we have is the present. So, we just need to enjoy it!
